The Selhurst park is home to Crystal Palace fc and is located in Selhurst near Croydon. I decided to go because I want to see very cool football in London. I am not a Crystal Palace fan but I am a little bit of an Ipswich fan because I live near Ipswich and that's why I went there. I went to see the game on Saturday 8th March 2025 which was Crystal Palace v Ipswich Town. I travelled from Ipswich on a train to London Liverpool street then to Victoria by London Underground Metro/Subway and then finally to Selhurst on the Southern line which is to the south.

If you decided to go by car or by bus it is for sure expected to be a massive amounts of traffic. Also if you are going on the bus there will be a lot of people on the bus. Once I got to the stadium I thought that the stadiums of Portman road and Selhurst park have a very similar capacity. The Ipswich fans were quite loud and supportive to their team but Crystal palace fans were also quite loud but more supportive which made Crystal Palace win. The crowd was super energetic because they want their team to win and not lose. It felt very happy while I was walking in the Selhurst Park because I was about to see Crystal Palace v Ipswich town. I was sat at: Main Stand block C row 7 seat 58 and i walked in by Entrance 9. The fans of Crystal Palace were singing the Crystal Palace - We Love You chant. On the eighty third minute of the game Ismaila Sarr scored and made Crystal Palace score and win the game 1-0. I didn't eat the food at the stadium because i wasn't hungry but you can eat pies, Hot dogs, Burgers and many more if you're hungry. So the question is: Do I recommend you to go to Selhurst Park? My answer is yes because it will be very cool and fun game to watch if you pick good seats. Last question is: Will I return there again? My answer is probably yes if Ipswich plays against them again away. So thank you for reading this, hope you find this text useful and read my other blogs about other places I have been to.
